We have 10 Chickens. 2 of which are Roosters. The rest of them (8) Are our new add. They are baby hens! None of which are the sane breed of chicken..
What happened to our other two chickens?
One of our silkies (The 2 roosters) has passed due to Lice, and a parasite... She was resting in a large cage that was sitting on two chairs facing each-other. She was a grey silkie, that looked like a black silkie..... Her name was Nugget. Fortunately, she was our only hen at the time! And the other 3 were roosters! We would have never knew.
Mr. Molly
Mr. Molly was a boy. Originally we thought he was a girl at the chick age.. I named him Molly thinking he was a girl. Well, in January.. Mr. Molly, and Coconut our big rooster, started fighting. At first it wasn't as bad.. But in February it got worse. My mom had to take him out due to him being very badly injured. His head was all messed up. So, about a week later, she had put him back into the coop we have sitting out back a few feet away from our patio. In March, we decided to give him away to a good home. This lady and her husband came, and they live on a farm, so it was great.... Came and took him. We do very much miss him, and so does, Coconut, and General Tao.
